Crest Audio has been in business for over twenty years producing amplifiers, consoles and control products servicing a diverse range of international markets.
In each of its enterprises, Crest Audio is known for the excellence and value of its products.
Crest Audio was founded in the late 1970s and began by building exceptional power amplifiers for the tour sound industry.
A series of engineering breakthroughs launched the Crest Audio success story. Our first amplifier, the P3500, delivered 475 watts-per-channel in a two-rack space chassis at a time when competitors were offering 400 watts in a four-rack space.
In 1983, Crest Audio became the first audio company to provide a two-ohm capable, high-wattage amplifier in a three-rack space chassis, the 4001.
Finally in 1987, our 8001 power amplifier was introduced, quickly becoming the industry's most respected and widely recognized concert sound amplifier.
1998 marked the introduction of the 8002 power amplifier bringing power factor correction technology and lighter weight to the benchmarks of sonic performance and reliability that embody the Crest Audio tradition.
Crest Audio offers more than just exceptional power amplifiers. In 1989, we began the manufacture of Gamble EX series mixing consoles and have remained a top name in console design and manufacture ever since.
1991 marked the debut of NexSys, Crest Audio's renowned computer-based network amplifier control system. Since that time, the range of Crest Audio control products has expanded to address every aspect of installation configuration and control.
